What You’ll Do
  • Assist with daily care + life skills development
  • Support cooking, light housekeeping, and transportation
  • Participate in community-based activities
  • Administer medications (with certification)

  • Direct Support Professional (DSP) certification within 6 months
  • CRMA certification (if not already CNA-M)

Qualifications : 

  • Perform various basic care activities related to services essential to caring for the personal needs and comfort of patient
  • Dresses, grooms, bathes, feeds, takes and records vital signs of patients as needed 
  • Assists in toileting, oral care, nail care, assists patients in wheelchairs, transports, reports patient changes, basic cleaning duties
  • Requires certification as a Nurse Assistant; functions may not exceed Standards of Practice as accorded by certification
  • Provide quality care in a residential setting 
  • Takes and records temperature, pulse, and respiration rate as needed
  • Gives medication (if CNA-M) as directed by Physician or Nurse and makes notation of amount and time given
  • Accompany patients on community outings and assist as needed  
  • Other duties as assigned
